ChronoJam: M.O.S.H Rover Ride Vehicle

Type:

Ride Vehicle Design Intent Package

Chronojam is a trackless dark ride that embraces the exciting world of animated ride media and physical show sets, taking guests on a temporal journey through the music of the past, present, and future.

Unlike other theme park dark ride offerings, ChronoJam offers guests a unique experience using randomized ride path sequencing. With 36 possible time travel journeys, guests will be whisked through different musical subcultures and directly engage with them in an in-show sound-based interactive, special effects, and post-show mini-games and activities.

A spin on the Oceaneering REVOLUTION™ Tru-Trackless™ Motion-Base Ride System, The M.O.S.H Rover is a cutting-edge invention created by Dr. Allegra Sonata and her tech start-up, the Concert Globalization Development Directive (CGDD).  It's the world’s first fully mobile seating device designed for concertgoers, offering live lyrics and subtitles while also prioritizing concert views for fans who cheer the loudest. Essentially, it personalizes the concert experience, rewarding enthusiasm with better views and features.

During the annual open house, guests are invited to test out the Mosh Rover, where they’re placed into the rovers for a live performance. However, things take a dramatic turn when Reese, a janitor with a love for loud rock music, inadvertently activates a hidden time jump feature on the Rover after slamming into the control panel. This triggers a sequence of events revealing Dr. Sonata’s secret plan to save her struggling company by stealing and selling valuable artifacts

On their journey, guests will experience the peak of different musical genres and flirt with danger thanks to constant historical chaos due to Dr. Sonata stealing musical artifacts and messing with the fabric of music itself. Together, Reese and the guests must use the Rovers to create enough noise to open more portals and jump back to the present.
